With an increasing number of unemployment, illiteracy and unhealthy lifestyles in Durban, 12BA NPO was established to address these. I2BA NPO was initiated on the 15th of September 2018 and was registered officially with RSA Social Development as a nonprofit organisation on the 16th of October 2018 (216-849NPO)
During the COVID-19 pandemic 12BA suspended all operations but after doing a community survey, they were touched and as a result, their Board spared some funds and approached few sponsors. 12BA then distributed food groceries to 24 families ensuring that they will have food for the next 4-5 weeks.
Though they still have about 48 families left in Durban South region to assist, they are working tirelessly to ensure that these families have food.
A number of families who received groceries in the Durban South Region have increased to 27. Thanks to Shoprite🙏🏻🙏🏻#Covid_19SA #Lockdownlevel4 #lockDownSouthAfrica #coronavirusInSouthAfrica pic.twitter.com/nkZNXRxVY4
